Tecsun AN-03L Wire Antenna
This antenna enhances FM and shortwave reception by connecting the wire to the external FM/SW antenna socket of your radio receiver. Excellent passive antenna for shortwave reception.

This passive antenna is excellent for shortwave reception! It's length is 7 meters which is very suitable for variety of positions. Taking in mind it's nature being a passive antenna & it's cost, it is very good. Remember that the observable gain it will be more clear to you as sensitivity of your receiver is less. It's gain on my old Sony ICF-7600DS is more clear than on my new Tecsun H-501x because sensitivity of Tecsun H-501x is higher than Sony ICF-7600DS (though all stations that received by Tecsun H-501x are also received by Sony IRC-7600DS but weaker). I'm highly recommend this antenna.

Before I got my hands on it I was wondering whether this will actually give better transmission since I happen to stay at an high rise apartment, but when I got it and hung it from window and connected the plug in my 310 ET , some stations like VOA started to be audible loud and clear .. but placing the radio at a stable reception area is also of critical importance. This may not be the most efficient antenna being sold at Anon , but it is certainly a reasonably low priced & very simple and effective antenna which can never go wrong since there is nothing complicated inside but just a reel of wire with a 3.5 plug which goes inside the ext antenna jack of the radio and it does not need any battery to run the antenna. Really a nice portable device which improves your SW listening to certainly a better extent. Am happy with it :)
